Scrap glass catcher

A great classical pattern to use that lurking scrap glass on! Some cuts may be slightly advanced since they create thin pieces or sharp curves.

One of my co-workers was helping me dream up new pattern ideas. One of her thoughts was a horse of many colors. This was my take on it! Yes, I know it's a unicorn... it's more special that way.

This design was originally created for a client who wanted a celtic knot done for her 19.5" octagon window. It turned out so well I may have to create one for myself as a hanging panel!

Swirl Crazy

Description

Yesterday was a bit crazy. I thought I'd demonstrate what my mind was going through in lamp form. My boss says it reminds her of snakes or snails.. perhaps SHE is the crazy one.

Either way, this may be the perfect project for you if you are like me and have mountains of scrap glass from previous projects laying around.

While flipping through some my pictures I found one of me in a hoodie that reminded me of a wizard. I added a crystal ball, drew in a hand, and voila!

Imagine "Happy Feet" in the entrance to your podiatry clinic or shoe/foot store. It's an excellent way to announce to passerby's what your all about!

Steer Skull

This is one of the many custom designs I have done. A woman I work with wanted a steer head done in a customary Santa Fe/New Mexico design. This is what I came up with!

The colors are very standard for this type of design but she decided to change the outer border blue to a tan/off-white color instead since it would not match her daughter's room.

Smiling Flower

An easter inspired design perfect for decorating your windows for spring, the easter holiday or all year round.

This design will require some simple glass painting for the face and will look best when using brightly color spring colors (pinks, blues and yellows).

Twins

I originally created this project as a quick last minute birthday gift for some twin friends of mine. The boys gift was done in blue and alternatively the girls was pink (which was also their favorite colors). It could also easily be used as a gift for any Gemini out there.

This is a great beginner project for anyone still working on his or her first projects or needs help working on cutting curves and circles.

I finished the project off by bordering the piece with some rolled zinc, curly hangers and some chain.

Finished examples:

tranquility of a Juniper Procumbens Nana trained in the traditional
style. It is the perfect way of accenting any room with a striking
bonsai without the 15 year growing time.

This was my first lamp project. I designed this piece to look like a white ribbon was floating or wrapping around it. The design covers 2 sides and repeats 3 times.

Dancer

Usually on my lunch hours, I take walks and sometimes visit neighboring stores. On one particular day, I found a painting of several dancers. It was beautiful but out of my price range. I ran home and made several sketches of what I could remember of it.

Flower Power

This design was influenced by my favorite word puzzle, "Flower Power" by PennyPress®. I absolutely love them and have books of them. Today, while I was doing my puzzle over lunch, it suddenly occurred to me that the geometric pattern would make a cool panel! So here it is. here it is.
